H-Profiles

H-profiles get their name from their characteristic shape: two parallel channels connected by a central web form the silhouette of the letter “H.” This design makes them ideal for securely and permanently joining two panels, pieces of glass, or sheets of metal. At the same time, they ensure a clean seal at the joint and a stable finish that is both visually appealing and technically reliable.

Applications

H-profiles are used in many areas—for example, in window and facade construction, glazing, partition walls, or technical structures that require a secure connection between two elements. They compensate for dimensional tolerances, protect edges, and create a durable connection without the need for additional fasteners.

Materials

• TPE (60 ShA): The standard material for H-profiles, combining high elasticity with dimensional stability. It is UV- and weather-resistant and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
• Silicone (60 ShA): Particularly resistant to extreme temperatures and aging. Silicone H-profiles remain elastic even in extreme heat or cold and are therefore suitable for demanding environments.
• ADSL Series (Silicone Rubber): Special silicone rubber versions that offer additional resistance and durability. This variant is ideal when the highest demands are placed on temperature or weather resistance.

Colors

• Standard colors: Black, White, Brown, Gray, Beige, and Transparent
• Custom colors: Available in many additional RAL shades for orders of 200 meters or more

Design Features and Variants

Our H-profiles are available as standard without talcum powder. This makes them easier to handle and ensures a clean appearance in visible applications. In addition, special versions such as the ADSL series with silicone rubber are available, which perform reliably even in extreme operating conditions.

Installation & Maintenance

H-profiles are easy to install by sliding the panels or glass into the two mounting slots. This immediately creates a stable connection. Regular visual inspections and cleaning are sufficient to ensure long-term functionality. Especially for outdoor applications, it is recommended to occasionally clean the profiles of dirt to ensure they remain permanently elastic.
