Angle profiles
Angle profiles are an important component in the field of technical seals. They are characterised by their distinctive right-angled geometry and are used wherever edges, transitions or right-angled surfaces need to be reliably sealed or protected. Thanks to their shape, they fit securely against two adjacent surfaces and ensure that neither air, moisture nor dust can penetrate unchecked. At the same time, they offer protection against mechanical damage to edges and thus contribute significantly to the longevity of the entire structure.
Areas of application
Angle profiles are used in many different applications – from windows, doors and gates to façades, covers and technical installations. They seal joints between components, stabilise vulnerable areas and compensate for tolerances in the structure. They also prove invaluable in renovation and modernisation projects, as they adapt well to existing geometries, ensuring a secure and durable seal.
Materials
- TPE (60 ShA): The standard material for angle profiles. It offers a balanced combination of elasticity and stability, is weather-resistant, durable and resistant to UV radiation. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use
- TPE (80 ShA): For applications requiring particularly high dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity, angle profiles are also available in harder versions. This variant is used, for example, in heavily stressed transitions or precision-manufactured constructions.
Colours
- Standard colours: Black
- Custom colours: available in almost all RAL colours for orders of 200 m or more
Design features and variants
The angle profiles are available in a wide range of sizes, ensuring that the right profile can always be selected for the specific application. Smaller profiles are suitable for narrow transitions and tight gaps, whilst larger variants reliably seal wide joints or structures subject to heavy loads. This variety allows both standard applications and special requirements to be precisely met.
Angle profile range
- Small angle profiles: For delicate applications, narrow joints and light loads.
- Medium angle profiles: Universally applicable and ideal for standard doors, windows and gate systems.
- Large angle profiles: For wide gaps and heavily stressed structures, for example in large gates or façades.
- Special designs: Harder profiles (80 ShA) for particularly precise systems or high mechanical loads.
Installation & Maintenance
Angle profiles are simple and reliable to install. They are fitted to clean, dry surfaces and provide an immediate seal. Thanks to the high resilience of TPE, they remain elastic for years, even when subjected to regular stress. Occasional cleaning and visual inspection are sufficient to ensure they continue to function effectively.
