Self-adhesive seals
Self-adhesive seals are the flexible solution for quick, efficient and reliable sealing of doors and windows. They can be applied directly without the need for additional tools or screws, adhere securely and offer immediate protection against draughts, moisture, noise and dust. In doing so, they not only improve living comfort but also contribute to the building’s energy efficiency. Self-adhesive seals are a practical alternative, particularly in renovation or retrofitting projects, when gaps need to be sealed quickly and permanently.
Precision for everyday use and durability
Our self-adhesive seals are precisely tailored to standard gap dimensions and are manufactured using state-of-the-art production technology. This ensures they seal evenly, retain their shape even with frequent opening and closing, and guarantee a long service life.
Materials and Shore hardness
Two materials are available to meet different requirements:
- EPDM (15 ShA) - very soft, flexible and adaptable. With its low Shore hardness, EPDM adapts to even minor irregularities, ensuring a reliable seal with low closing pressure.
- Silicone (60 ShA, talcum-coated or uncoated) - durable, temperature-resistant and weatherproof. Silicone remains permanently elastic even under UV radiation or at extreme temperatures. Talc-coated means that the surface is coated with a thin layer of talc. This reduces friction, facilitates installation, prevents sticking and ensures that the seal runs more smoothly during operation.
Colours and custom colours
As standard, the seals are available in white, anthracite grey, window grey, black and brown. For orders of 200 metres or more, almost any RAL colour is available – ensuring a perfect visual match with door and window designs.
Variants and models
Our self-adhesive seals are available in 6 mm and 9 mm widths. Depending on the application, various profile geometries are available:
- Double-strand seal
- DROP seal
- ALL-PURPOSE seal
- P-seal
- D-seal
Each of these models offers specific advantages in use – from particularly tight contact to universal applications.
Application & Care
Installation is incredibly simple: clean the surface, remove the protective film, fit the seal – done. For maximum durability, surfaces should be dry, clean and free of grease. Occasional cleaning with a mild detergent maintains functionality.
