Threshold seals
Threshold seals are the central component in doors for secure and comfortable sealing in the lower area. They reliably prevent the ingress of cold, moisture and dust, thereby making a decisive contribution to the energy efficiency, sound insulation and durability of doors.
Floor threshold seals for front doors
Front doors are exposed to high mechanical and climatic stresses every day. Floor threshold seals ensure a permanent and precise seal between the door leaf and the threshold. They guarantee reliable protection against driving rain, draughts and temperature fluctuations, thus ensuring a pleasant living environment and maintaining the value of the entire door system.
Door threshold seals
For interior use or doors that are subject to less stress, door threshold seals offer a reliable solution. They precisely compensate for tolerances, improve closing acoustics and provide additional comfort in everyday use.
Materials
- PVC (up to 95 ShA) – robust, easy to clean and dimensionally stable, particularly suitable for heavily used threshold areas.
- Silicone – elastic, UV and weather resistant, with high temperature tolerance; ideal for long-lasting seals even under extreme conditions.
- TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) – flexible, durable and with excellent resilience; a versatile solution for a wide range of door systems.
Colours and variants
The threshold seals are available in the standard colours black and window grey. For production quantities of 200 metres or more, we can produce almost any RAL colour.
Depending on requirements, talcum-coated variants are also available, which facilitate processing and reduce friction.
